All it takes is a little bit of Psychology for students to develop an interest in the subject. They begin to use Psychology as a lens through which to interpret the world around them.
This page is designed to connect students and visitors to information beyond the pages of the textbook. It's meant to expand their interest in the subject and see the relevance of Psychology in their everyday worlds.
During this course, students often have questions. Sometimes they are about the curriculum and those questions get answered by peers, the textbook, or during the class period by me.
Sometimes the curriculum triggers other questions, about a students' inner world and experiences. This class is an opportunity for personal growth, new insight, and empowered change. If students have questions about their own lives, I'm available to answer questions about that too.
Resources & Support
Over the years, students have opened up and shared their personal challenges with me. Some have dealt with issues in the past and overcame them, while others are in the midst of it.
I'm in the process of gathering as many useful resources as I can for a variety of types of challenges that kids are facing today. But I need your help. If you know any websites, videos, articles, etc. that you think I should include here, please go to this page and email me with your resource. Thank you.
